Safety Induction
This course is designed for untrained new security officers to gain the knowledge and understanding in a controlled environment.

Working in a control post environment
Introduction to close circuit television (CCTV)
Vehicle searching / person searching
Introduction to searching aids
Access & egress of premises and areas
Introduction to urban and rural patrolling techniques
Accident & incident control
Introduction to radio communication
Taking & receiving telephone messages in a simulated environment
Planning and writing guard & patrol rosters
Introduction to report writing

Practical Training & Assessments carried out to enable teams to patrol and communicate by radio.
(Suitable area to be available pending risk assessment by trainer/assessor, in line with British Standards 7499.
