People Moving and Handling
This course is targeted at people working in a paid or voluntary capacity with children and or adults who require assistance in being lifted or moved.
Course Outline

Organisations are required by law to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of the people in their workforce, so that the risk of injury to employees and others is minimised. This course will provide a knowledge of how to maintain the health and safety of others when moving or handling. It includes the use of mechanical aids, good handling methods and how to avoid hazardous handling techniques.
